So, as I'm sure you are more than aware by now, Khloe Kardashian gave birth the other day and the world let out a collective sigh of relief.

For fans of the Kardashians - and those who claim that they're not, but still read on with a voracious appetite- it's been a tiring few months. It all started back in September when rumours began to circulate that Kylie Jenner was pregnant by Travis Scott. Then, Kim Kardashian confirmed that she was having a baby via a surrogate. And finally, it was rumoured that Khloe was also expecting.
What followed was months of speculation that was expertly orchestrated by the cunning genius that is Kris Jenner. Headlines were filled with "are they/aren't they?" questions, with the sisters being uncharacteristically quiet about the rumours surrounding the pregnancies.

Then the confirmations began flooding in, with them being timed to perfection. In order to coincide with the release of the latest Keeping Up With The Kardashians series, Kim confirmed that she was having a daughter. The program then released teaser trailer "reveals", garnering attention and hype to the series.
Eventually, across the space of a few months, we all got the news we had been waiting for.
First came little baby Chicago (Kim's daughter), then Stormi (Kylie's daughter) and now, finally, we have True Thompson (Khloe's daughter).

Of course, these infants all have one thing - they're all girls. But, on top of that, they also have bizarre names.

Understandably, due to the nature of their names, the kids have been on the receiving end of jokes online, with Khloe's choice being the latest target.

In the days before the birth was announced, rumours began to circulate that Tristan Thompson, Khloe's partner, had cheated on her with several different women. The NBA player was previously pictured getting comfortable with some women in a hookah bar, before being seen heading back to his hotel room with another female.
In light of this, Twitter has been making the same joke.

Despite people tearing into the couple, Khloe ignored the rumours when she announced the birth on her social media channels. Taking to both her Instagram and Twitter accounts, Khloe wrote:
"Our little girl, True Thompson, has completely stolen our hearts and we are overwhelmed with LOVE. Such a blessing to welcome this angel into the family! Mommy and Daddy loooooove you True!"
While her mom and dad may be at odds with one another over allegations of infidelity, True looks like she's already on the pathway to success. When Kris Jenner took to her Instagram to share the good news, she also posted a link to True's Instagram account. The account currently has no photos but has already amassed over 120,000 followers - something which us mere mortals can only dream of.

Was Khloe firing shots at Tristan when she named her child? I hope not. But, given the nature of recent celebrity baby names, it wouldn't surprise me. I mean, David Beckham called his daughter Harper Seven in order to fit in with his brand. Who knows how far these people will go?
